What you'll be able to do
The fundamentals, as they matter right now.
This is not a general software course. It's what you have to know to build things today, with the tools and models that exist now, and the fundamentals so it keeps working when they change.
Know what you're building
•Turn an idea into something an agent can actually build
•Know what done looks like before you start
•Read what got built and tell whether it's right
Get it built, and trust it
•Brief the agent so it builds the right thing
•Get a second agent to check the plan before anyone codes
•Ship when the evidence says so, not when the agent says so
Have something real to show
•Your own app on a real URL, sent to anyone you like
•The base for what comes next: accounts, data, payments, AI inside
How it works
Learn inside your tool, alongside a cohort.
Learn inside your tool
Your AI tool teaches the concepts and guides you through applying them to your own app. Complete the lessons whenever suits you during the week.
Meet at weekly live office hours
Bring questions, share what you’ve built, and get unstuck with me and the cohort. Recorded if you can’t attend.
Build alongside your cohort
Everyone works through the same module each week. Share progress and get help in Slack between sessions. I’m in there daily.
Four weeks, four modules, and you keep all of it.
The four modules
Idea, spec, build, ship.
One module a week, each ending with something real you made.
Week 1The shape of software
How software is built and what's actually happening when an agent writes it. What each level of building unlocks. You pick something worth building.
1.1Setup
1.2How software is built
1.3What's actually happening
1.4What each level unlocks
1.5Finding something worth building
You end with:The idea page: what it is, who it's for, what it does, what's out.
Week 2Spec and plan
The stack and why. Three kinds of decisions and who makes them. Design direction. Requirements by grilling. The spec, then the plan with a second agent's opinion.
2.1The stack, and why
2.2Three kinds of decisions and who does what
2.3Design direction
2.4Requirements, by grilling
2.5The spec
2.6The plan, the second opinion, the diagram, and done
You end with:A spec, a reviewed plan, a diagram of how it's built, and a done list.
Week 3Build and refine
Repo, tools and a rules file. The first build, with the agent checking its own work. Refining with git as your safeguard. Starting new work on the same thing.
3.1Setup: repo, tools, rules file
3.2The first build
3.3Refining, with git as your safeguard
3.4New work on the same thing
3.5Bonus: open source
You end with:A running app that passes its own checks, and a note on how it's built.
Week 4Ship it
Deploy to a preview, then production. Check the live app from your phone. One improvement all the way through. Share it.
4.1Deploy
4.2Check the live app
4.3One improvement, all the way through
4.4Share it, and keep going
You end with:A live URL, one improvement shipped, and a link you've shared.
Common questions
Do I need to know how to code?
Absolutely not! You need to be willing to read what the agent shows you and make decisions about it. The course teaches you enough about how software is built to do that.
Which tool do I need?
Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, your choice. The lessons work in all three. You'll need a paid plan for one of them.
What if I haven't done the free courses?
You'll be fine. If you've never used a coding agent at all, do the first module of Claude Code for PMs or Claude Code for Everyone first; it's free and takes an afternoon.
Is this included in Full Stack Mastery?
Yes. Mastery members get it first, in beta, from late September, and the live run in November is included.
Can I expense it?
Most members do. I'll provide an invoice and help you make the case to your manager.
